Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a reliable driver to operate company trucks or vehicles on established routes to deliver products and pickup returns, while performing shipping and receiving tasks in the warehouse. Under supervision, you will stay compliant with safety rules, maintain equipment, document deliveries, and assist with loading/unloading.

• Great reading comprehension of documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write clear reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees.
• Basic math skills for measurements and unit conversions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Forklift training may be required in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Drives Company truck or automobile on established routes to deliver products and pick up returns.
• Performs shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse.
• Keeps vehicle fueled per management instructions and notifies of repairs.
• Follows safety rules and applicable laws.
• Sorts and prepares merchandise for storage or distribution.
• Verifies documentation and records incoming merchandise by part and quantity.
