Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a delivery driver in Rochester, NY. This role involves safe, timely deliveries, adhering to company policies and DOT guidelines, and performing warehouse duties when not driving.

You will load and unload products, maintain certification documents, and contribute to a team-focused environment with competitive pay and benefits. Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (2+ years preferred).
• Experience driving box trucks or similar (1 year).
• Warehouse duties in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Must read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Able to repeatedly lift 50-75 lbs.
• Meet DOT regulations.
• Complete internal Driver Training Program.
• Motor Vehicle report must meet driver standards.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
• Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.
• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.
