Job summary

Valley Distribution Corp. in Illinois is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate (Class A required) to join our team and support daily shipments. You will receive and stock product, perform packaging, palletizing, and help load and secure deliveries.

This role requires at least one year of driving and warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. Forklift experience is preferred, and you will interact professionally with customers while adhering

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL is required.
• At least one year of forklift experience preferred.
• At least one year warehouse/operations experience.
• 1 year driving experience.
• Ability to lift/move up to 65lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock product; repackaging; palletizing.
• Perform tank readings, customer pick-ups, LTL shipments.
• Loads, fills and labels containers from bulk according to assignments.
• Picks and stages products to be according to the delivery schedule.
• Loads and properly secures products in delivery trucks.
• Unloads delivery trucks in an efficient manner and stores products in appropriate area.
• Completes and submits accurate records of products received and/or filled daily.
• Updates products that are loaded on all trucks and utilizes the load/unload slips.
• Retrieves and submits packing slips for products received.
• Operates forklift, hand truck, pallet and electric jack as needed.
• Maintains warehouse area and safety reports.
• Completes accurate inventory of products as needed.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Interacts positively with all customers.
• Will be required to act in a professional manner at all times.
• Safely load/unload deliveries - the ability to lift/move up to 65lbs is required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What You’ll Do:

• Receive and stock product; repackaging; palletizing

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• At least one year of forklift experience preferred
• At least one year warehouse/operations experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A HS Diploma or GED
• Safely load/unload deliveries - the ability to lift/move up to 65lbs is required
• Class A CDL is required
• 1 year driving experience
