Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a delivery/warehouse associate to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to customers’ homes or businesses in the Muscle Shoals area. You will assist in warehouse tasks, maintain vehicle safety checks, and ensure accurate delivery records with customer sign-offs.

Responsibilities include stocking, arranging displays, and performing general store/warehouse maintenance while upholding our delivery standards and Safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment or equivalent training.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License and have a general familiarity with the delivery area.
• Must meet DOT requirements (e.g., Medical Examiners Certification and Driver’s DOT qualification file).

Responsibilities

• Drives delivery truck in assigned zone to deliver products to customer homes or businesses.
• Loads and unloads merchandise, sets up as needed.
• Obtains customer signature on receipts for pickup or delivery.
• Records deliveries on delivery records and submits to management.
• Maintains vehicle and reports fuel/maintenance data as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of store/warehouse interior and grounds.
• Places stock on shelves and assists with displays.
• Assists with repossessions of goods and other general duties as assigned.
