Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. in Hickory, NC is seeking a Delivery/Warehouse Associate to safely operate company vans or box trucks, load/unload merchandise, and build positive relationships with customers as part of our fast-paced distribution team.

You will perform routine vehicle inspections, follow traffic laws, support warehouse tasks, and contribute to a high-energy, collaborative work environment. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, along with strong time management

The DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Will Be Responsible For

• Safely operate company owned vans or box trucks to deliver products to customer in a timely manner.
• Loading/unloading merchandise from delivery vehicle.
• Maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
• Obtaining customer signatures when needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles.
• Assisting in warehouse tasks as needed and assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license
