Job summary

Guy's Quality Meats is a Full-line Food Service Distributor and butcher shop. A Delivery Driver (Warehouse) position is available in Fort Pierce, Florida, with both full-time and part-time options and overtime opportunities.

The role involves unloading freight, verifying receipts, stocking goods, and assisting in daily warehouse operations while upholding FDA/USDA standards. A clean driving record and active license are required; lifting up to 80 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• CDL is not required.
• Familiar with the Treasure Coast area.
• Able to drive a box truck.
• Clean criminal record.
• Active driver's license.
• Great customer service.
• Food experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unloads all incoming freight from carriers and delivery trucks.
• Notates damage and piece count when applicable.
• Verifies receipts against purchase orders.
• Advises the purchasing department of shortages and overages.
• Stocks all goods in appropriate locations.
• Assists in physical inventories.
• Processes customer returns daily.
• Assists in picking.
• Ensures daily warehouse operations are completed.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation.
• Operates vehicles and machinery including vans, box trucks, forklifts, dollies, and pallet jacks.
• Assists with loading/unloading of trucks as needed.
• Supports customer service, warehouse operations, forklift operation, product handling, and sanitation.
• Maintains temperature checks.
• Performs daily truck inspections and follow-up repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks when needed.
• Assist with customer service, warehouse operations, forklift operation, product handling, and sanitation.
• Responsible for ensuring that all temperature checks.
• Daily truck inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Follow up on repair requests to ensure the completion of repairs.
