Job summary

AKAIROS LLC in Edgewood, MD is seeking motivated Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. No prior delivery experience is required as we provide paid training from day one, a company delivery van, and all equipment needed to complete routes safely and on time.

You will start and finish shifts at the DMD2 delivery station, load and deliver packages to homes and businesses, use company devices for navigation, follow safety rules, and deliver friendly customer service outdoors in various weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• No CDL required.
• Must consent to background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Must be able to safely operate and navigate a delivery van.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van.
• Start and finish each shift at the DMD2 delivery station in Edgewood.
• Load, organize, and deliver packages to homes and businesses.
• Use a company-provided device for navigation and delivery information.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and customer delivery instructions.
• Get in and out of the delivery van throughout the shift.
• Deliver packages safely and on time.
• Communicate with dispatch throughout the day.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Keep the assigned delivery vehicle clean and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
