Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma is seeking a delivery helper to assist the driver with unloading and servicing customers, following SYGMA procedures, customer specifications, and our preferred work methods.

You will learn routes on current bids, help with route paperwork, and support safety procedures. CDL school attendance may be scheduled and required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent in work experience.
• Must be able to read and write clearly.
• Commercial vehicle drivers must read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Unload product according to customer specifications and SYGMA procedures at customer locations.
• Develop good customer relationships by providing courteous service.
• Learn route on current bid.
• Assist in all aspects of route paperwork.
• Work safely by following SYGMA's Preferred Work Methods.
• Attend CDL School when scheduled.
• Assist in pre-trip and coupling to ensure vehicle safety.
• Provide routing assistance with map reading and directions.
• Assist with delivery setup and guiding the driver for proper setup.
• Back up the driver by observing hazards and signaling.
