Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Hayward, CA is looking for a Driver to be the face of our company, delivering tires and wheels safely and on time. You will use a company vehicle and provide friendly customer service while loading, unloading, and collecting payments.

This role also involves helping in the warehouse, moving tires up to 80 lbs, operating a clamp forklift when required, and occasionally crossing state lines. A valid license (no CDL required) and DOT safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30–80lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Load and unload product; collect payments; manage product returns.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle.
• Assist in warehouse orders and loading/unloading trucks; operate forklift when required.
