Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a merchandising associate to assist route delivery drivers and support store merchandising on a daily basis. The role includes traveling between stores on the assigned route, stocking displays, and ensuring products are presented attractively to customers.

The candidate will maintain merchandising standards, rotate stock, and handle cases weighing 5 to 40 pounds. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus, with mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required; 1 year of general work experience suggested.

SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting route delivery drivers, store merchandising, hot shot deliveries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Build and maintain product displays in compliance with Company standards.


• Duties include the potential need for the utilization of personal vehicle to travel between stores on assigned route, with mileage reimbursement.


• Maintain professional team relationship with co-workers and customers.


• Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products in designated accounts.


• Face all products for customer appeal.


• Stack and un-stack cases of soft drinks weighing between 5 to 40 pounds continuously.


• Move heavy pallets with hand jacks.


• Utilize forklift or electric pallet jacks when possible.


• Follow good manufacturing and housekeeping practices.


• Follow and comply with all safety guidelines, wear PPE, and comply with all OSHA safety standards.


• Other duties as assigned or requested.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied both written and verbal. Close attention to detail required to verify product stock numbers and date codes.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.


• Other Qualifications: Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack to lift/move product.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Required daily.
