Job summary

Soleo Health in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a Per Diem Delivery Driver to support our specialty infusion pharmacy. This role involves safe and timely deliveries to patient homes, loading, unloading, and coordinating with the warehouse.

Must have a valid driver’s license, own registered and insured vehicle, and be able to work Monday-Friday with 20–29 hours per week. Mileage reimbursement and hourly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience with deliveries to customer job sites preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing to make deliveries.
• Must own properly registered and insured vehicle to use for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload, sort, pick, stock, stage and transport goods.
• Transport materials to/from storage areas or vehicles; stack items.
• Secure items with bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent damage.
• Verify counts against physical stock.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and safety compliance.
• Follow safety policies and encourage others to do the same.
• May drive to pick up stock or deliver materials as needed.
• Deliver to patient homes in a timely, safe, professional manner.
• Pick up equipment from patient homes when required.

This Position:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, driving, pick-ups, and deliveries.

Responsibilities Include:

• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• May drive to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate other machinery in order to complete tasks.
• Makes deliveries to patient homes in a timely, safe and professional manner.
• Makes pick-ups of equipment from patient’s home in a timely, safe and professional manner.

Schedule:

• Must have the ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, Per Diem 20-29 hours per week - variable schedule to include: days, afternoons, evenings as needed
• Must have your own properly registered/insured vehicle to make deliveries driving up to 60 miles one direction to make deliveries (we offer mileage reimbursement and hourly rate of pay - even when driving!)
• Must be able to assist in the warehouse as needed with box breakdowns/recycling/trash removal, etc.
• Preferred experience working as a delivery driver for Specialty Infusion Pharmacy, medical courier, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in area of responsibility - preferred experience working for specialty infusion pharmacy, medical courier, etc.
• Experience with deliveries to customer job sites preferred
• Valid driver’s license in good standing to make deliveries
• Must own properly registered and insured vehicle to use for deliveriesExperience using MS office programs, outlook, etc. beneficial
