Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Pharmacy Services & Delivery role in the San Diego area. The position involves delivering radiopharmaceuticals and oncology meds to medical care providers on an assigned route using a non-CDL company vehicle.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Strong customer service and basic English literacy are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy and route details.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule

• 40hrs per week.

• Short term assignment (3 month minimum).

• Monday-Friday 4:45am-1:15pm

• Must be willing to work on call rotations and holiday rotations.

• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers

• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation

• Processes packages returned from customer locations

• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs

• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle

• Must hold a valid driver's license

• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours

• Ability to lift and manageup to 75 pounds

• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time

• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation

• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment

• Ability to use computers and tablets

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Prior delivery driving experience a plus

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.

• May require vendor credentialing
