Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver to efficiently deliver radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route. The role involves preparing shipments, scanning orders with a handheld tablet, loading and unloading containers, and maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Flexible shifts and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer accounts on the assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop info and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain and minorly repair vehicle as needed.
• Perform cleaning and other duties as required.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Ability to use computers and tablets
