Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver for Final Mile operations in Chula Vista, CA. You will load, sort, and safely deliver 280–320 packages to customers daily, using a large cargo van. Shifts begin around 10 AM, with 8-hour blocks, and opportunities to advance to full-time based on performance.

The role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs, and ability to work outdoors in varied weather. PTO, flexible schedules, and overtime incentives are available.

Responsibilities

• Load the van accurately and safely for deliveries.
• Deliver 280–320 packages to customers' residences or businesses.
• Efficiently manage company mobile devices, apps, and programs.
• Finish the assigned route within your shift and report progress.
• Support other drivers when needed and follow leadership directions.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with policies.

Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
• Pass a complete background check (provided by Accurate) and 4 panel drug test (THC NOT included, effective June 2021)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Able to get in and out of a van throughout the day
