Basalite Building Products, LLC is a leading Western U.S. producer of concrete masonry products. We offer a salary range of $30–$33 per hour DOE and full benefits.

This role supports operations, customer service and logistics by driving trucks, loading, delivering, and handling loads with safety and accuracy. Under Operations management, you will perform log books, check orders, secure loads, and transport materials to customers and job sites, while maintaining equipment and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of commercial driving experience required.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills essential.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must have a California Class A license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fills out log books, E-logs, worksheets, and reports.
• Performs customer service tasks as needed.
• Checks load against orders and leaves plant with correct products and quantities.
• Secures loads with ropes, straps, rack, and tarps.
• Transports products to customers, stores, and yards.
• Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
• Maintains and fuels trucks and inspects equipment.
• Maintains clean work area per company standards.
• Adheres to safety rules and reports hazardous conditions.
• Maintains regular attendance.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position supports the customer service and logistics departments in all areas and is responsible for driving trucks to pick up and deliver products. This position is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:General

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ commercial driving experience required.
• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Requires on-the-job training to perform the duties of the job.
• Ability to operate forklifts and drives a variety of trucks including doubles, T & T semi’s, and dry vans.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid California Class A driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
