Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a reliable delivery driver to serve customer accounts on an assigned route. You will use a handheld tablet to scan orders, verify stops, and navigate routes while delivering radiopharmaceuticals or oncology medications.

Responsibilities include packing shipments, handling loads, maintaining vehicle condition, and performing occasional on-site tasks. Flexibility for overtime and on-call shifts is required; a valid license and lifting ability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Minimum age 18 due to driving company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle physical tasks.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions, day or night.
• Ability to sit, stand, and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• On-call/holiday shifts may be required in rotation.
• Flexible to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
• Ability to use computers and tablets on the job.

Shift:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday-Friday 8:0am-3:00pm

• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)

• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers

• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation

• Processes packages returned from customer locations

• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs

• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Must hold a valid driver's license

• Prior delivery driving experience a plus

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle

• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds

• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours

• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation

• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed

• Ability to use computers and tablets
