Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services & Delivery team member in Minnesota to ensure prompt delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology medications to medical care providers. You will prepare doses for shipment, load/unload containers, and use a handheld tablet to verify orders and navigate stops.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work early morning shifts and varied days.
• On-call/holiday rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceutical and oncology medications to customer accounts on an assigned route.
• Package medications for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use handheld tablet to scan orders and navigate routes.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift

• 30 hours per week. Sunday-Wednesday
• Monday 3:00am – 11:00am
• Tuesday 2:00am – 10:00am
• Wednesday 3:00am – 11:00am
• Sunday 4:00am-10:00am
• Participates in the quarterly on call quota and holiday rotation.
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, shifts and overtime as per business need

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Ability to use computers and tablets
