Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy in South Carolina is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver prescription orders and products to long-term care facilities or patients' homes on a predetermined route, with a company vehicle. You will ensure medication needs are met and patient confidentiality.

No professional driving experience required; previous driving roles encouraged. You will load products, maintain the vehicle, and comply with all laws, HIPAA and safety standards while supporting the team to fill

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Possess geographical knowledge of service area
• Flexibility required
• Nights and Weekends
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required for the vehicle’s operation
• Ability to drive for long periods of time
• Customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription orders and products to long-term care facilities or patients’ homes on a predetermined route and schedule
• Load products/materials
• Maintain vehicle and alert management for maintenance issues
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local laws and HIPAA regulations
• Provide timely and accurate delivery to support the team’s ability to fill prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately
