Job summary

Factory Motor Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver in Des Moines, IA to represent our company on each delivery. You will be responsible for delivering merchandise promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience at every stop.

Key duties include safe driving, clear communication with customers, accurate returns processing, and participation in annual inventories. Must be 19+, have a valid license, and be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 4 years.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read a map or understand geographic area.
• Ability to drive safely in various road conditions, including potential hazardous materials transportation.

Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, you will serve as the “Face of Factory Motor Parts.”You willbe responsible for the delivery of merchandise in a safe, prompt, and professional mannerleaving a positive impact, and completely satisfy our customers.

Additional responsibilities for this transportation role include:

• Driving in a safe, courteous and defensive manner
• Communicating professionally with customers at their site
• Setting up customer returns accurately
• Participating in yearly physical inventories

Job requirements:

• 19 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 4 years
• Physically adept to lift up-to 75 pounds
• Ability to read a map or understanding of geographic area
• Demonstrated ability to drive “safe” in various road conditions, which may include the transportation of hazardous materials
