Job summary

Pioneer Logistics, Pontiac, MI, is hiring Delivery Drivers (full-time and part-time) to deliver packages on a route-based schedule. You will operate a company vehicle (no CDL required), receive paid training, and work a safety-focused, independent-but-supported on-road role across surrounding communities.

Starting pay is $23.25/hour with performance incentives and overtime opportunities. Training is provided, and benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to safely operate a delivery van.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be willing and able to work the schedule agreed upon during the hiring process.
• Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van.
• Deliver packages to homes, apartments, businesses, and other locations.
• Use a handheld delivery device for navigation and delivery information.
• Load and unload packages assigned to your route.
• Navigate a variety of roads and delivery areas.
• Work outdoors in changing Michigan weather conditions.
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day.
• Walk, climb stairs, lift, carry, and deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Work independently while supporting the rest of the Pioneer team.
