Job summary

Target Specialty Products in the United States is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport products to customer locations, perform order picking, and assist with warehouse tasks. Duties include safe driving of vans or light trucks and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving delivery vehicles (box trucks, vans) is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) regularly.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude during interactions.
• Willingness to assist with warehouse operations including order picking.

Responsibilities

• Product Delivery: Safely transport products from the branch to customer locations, ensuring on-time deliveries and proper handling of goods.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and report issues to keep vehicles in good condition.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service during deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Documentation: Maintain delivery records, including notes and signatures.
• Loading and Unloading: Load/unload items and secure them for transport.
• Picking and Packing: Assist with picking and packing orders for efficient operations.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations for safe driving.
• Certifications: Maintain required licenses and endorsements (e.g., HAZMAT as applicable).
• Branch Support: Assist with warehouse duties like receiving and stocking as needed.
