St. Louis Metro Electric Supply, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver/warehouse associate to transport materials to customers and support warehouse operations.

You will safely drive a truck or van, verify loads, scan deliveries, and maintain logs per regulations. The role may include material handling and promoting customer relations daily. Responsibilities emphasize timely deliveries, route planning, and reporting equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and customer service orientation.
• Ability to plan efficient routes and manage deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive truck or van to transport materials within specified area; verify loads against shipping papers; obtain signed receipts for material delivered.
• Scan each delivery into system before leaving the warehouse; maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Determine best route for timely delivery; record delivery information; inspect truck equipment and supplies and report deficiencies.
• Load and unload inventory; operate warehouse equipment according to manufacturers’ instructions; follow safety procedures.
• May perform Material Handler duties when not delivering; promote and maintain good customer relations; communicate feedback to management.
