Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a delivery driver to drive trucks on established routes, deliver products safely, and render services to customers.

You will collect payments, record transactions, load/unload items, and inform customers about new products while complying with DOT regulations. Regular attendance is expected, with occasional overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a current Driver’s License and clean driving record for past 39 months
• Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Delivery experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks on established routes delivering products and render services.
• Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts.
• Load and/or unload products at locations within a geographic territory and complete within the shift.
• Deliver perishable foods, table top items, special equipment and frozen foods as required.
• Inform customers of new products or services and relay sales promotions; resolve complaints.
• Record information on daily sales/delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Comply with company policies and DOT regulations; maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
