Job summary

CMC Supply is seeking a Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) in Roanoke, VA to safely deliver materials to customer locations and job sites while providing excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining vehicles, ensuring safe operation, and handling COD payments when required.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of delivery or driving experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This is an on-site role with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks, equipment, and materials prior to each delivery run.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safe operation and loading.
• Verify load accuracy and correct discrepancies before departure.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles in accordance with policies and local regulations.
• Deliver materials to customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Unload materials at customer-designated locations safely and accurately.
• Obtain customer signatures and collect payments (COD) when required.
• Maintain mileage logs and delivery documentation.
• Perform post-trip inspections and report safety concerns.
• Communicate customer concerns or service needs to supervisor.
• Submit required paperwork and payments timely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
