Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a dependable driver to operate a box truck and fulfill daily deliveries. You will maintain logs, complete payments on delivery, and ensure timely, safe transports across routes in varied weather conditions.

The role requires physical capability, adherence to safety procedures, and strong customer communication. Training is provided; benefits include weekly pay and healthcare options.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds on delivery routes.
• Complete 10–20 deliveries per day with accurate logs and records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with loading/unloading and using equipment when needed.
• Collect payments from customers at delivery.

Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day deliveriesComplete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and lawMake on time deliveries at our customer's locations while in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditionsPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle you're driving for the dayYou can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 poundsAble to assist in the loading/unloading of trucks and occasionally operate equipment (forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) when neededExpect to work approx. 8-12 hours/dayOperate a handheld device, provided, and ensure all deliveries are fulfilledAbility to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and managementCollect payments from customers upon delivery of productThe duties listed in this job description are not exhaustive.
