Each Hajoca location operates as a decentralized Profit Center, managed as if it were a small business, with a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom. These centers conduct business under unique trade names, tailoring their approach to local markets.

Moore Supply Company is one such trade name, seeking a Delivery Driver at their Conroe, TX location.

Pay for this position ranges from $18 to $23 per hour.

About the Role:

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations, delivering to job sites, customer facilities, vendor locations, other Hajoca locations, or other destinations as directed.
• Load merchandise at the Profit Center, secure loads properly, and ensure all necessary equipment is available for unloading.
• Understand and review shipping documents and directions for each delivery, ensuring accuracy.
• Unload merchandise at delivery sites, obtain signatures, and handle payments for cash sales.
• Work with customers to resolve shipping discrepancies promptly.
• Load merchandise from other locations, including vendor pickups and returns.
• Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer information during deliveries.
• Inspect the vehicle before departure, report mechanical issues, and perform daily safety checks.
• Complete required safety and compliance training and perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

• Must be able to drive vehicles over 10,000 lbs with a valid driver’s license and a suitable driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old and able to pass a Department of Transportation physical exam.
• Know and practice safety regulations for driving and warehouse operations.
• Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
• Learn to operate warehouse equipment and delivery-related computer systems.
• Proficient in English, with basic math skills.
