Job summary

Furniture Mart USA in Ames, IA is seeking a full-time delivery associate to safely operate straight trucks, load and unload furniture, and set up items at customers' homes. You must be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. CDL is not required.

Shifts are Tue–Sat; 7:00 AM–3:30 PM for deliveries and 9:00 AM–6:00 PM for warehouse/store roles; occasional overnight travel. Starting wage is $22/hour, with full benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 100 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ideal candidates have in-town driving experience, preferably delivering merchandise to customer homes.
• CDL is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck on delivery routes to customer homes.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Prepare furniture for delivery and set-up in customers’ homes.
• Assemble furniture and perform minor repair work.
• Occasional overnight travel.

Starting Wage: $22/hour

Summary:

Enjoy the variety of your work day by delivering quality customer service and driving to different locations.

• Full-Time: Tuesday - Saturday
  • Shifts you are out on deliveries: 7AM - 3:30PM
  • Shifts you are working in the warehouse/store: 9AM - 6PM
• Safely operate a straight truck on delivery routes to customer homes
