Job summary

HEATON DELIVERIES INC is hiring reliable Delivery Drivers to deliver packages safely and on time. No CDL required. Routes are Town-focused; responsibilities include loading, route planning, verification of packages, and outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving regulations.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Good communication and customer-focused approach.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 150 lbs with a dolly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages.
• Load and unload packages.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries (Town routes only).
• Verify package accuracy and proper documentation for each delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
• Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and communicate delays.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report malfunctions or incidents.
• Adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
