Job summary

AutoZone is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our store team in Boston. You will use company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries while promoting a high level of customer service.

Ideal candidates have basic automotive knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to load and unload merchandise. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus; Hazmat endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence & Engagement – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
