Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver to support our store teams in providing WOW! customer service and reliable parts delivery to commercial customers and DIY shoppers.

You will operate company vehicles, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure safe, timely deliveries while following all safety and policy guidelines. The role emphasizes strong product knowledge and courteous communication in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
