Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a driven Delivery Driver to safely operate a company vehicle and deliver parts to customers in Milford, CT. The role requires loading/unloading, verifying parts, collecting payments when needed, and obtaining signatures to confirm accuracy of deliveries.

You will follow DOT/FMCSA regulations and provide excellent customer service. No degree is required; 1+ year of delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of delivery driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must comply with state/local mandated requirements as well as DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner delivering products to customers.
• Physically load/unload the truck and verify the condition of the vehicle, manifest, and related paperwork.
• Drive to delivery destinations, unload, obtain signatures confirming accuracy of parts, and sign off on loads.
• Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for returns from customers.
• Collect accounts receivable, as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
