Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, provide equipment setup, and educate patients on proper use. You will follow routes and maintain a safe vehicle while delivering care with compassion.

You will participate in on-call rotations during evenings and weekends, and uphold company standards for safety, patient service, and timely documentation throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move equipment (heavy/d bulky)

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to routes and schedules
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with transportation laws
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle
• Build positive relationships with patients and internal teams
• Ensure FDA protocol compliance and vehicle cleanliness
• Support on-call rotations in evenings/weekends for emergencies

Job Functions

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies
