Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment and to set up gear for patients. You will educate patients on use, follow established routes, and maintain equipment and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities include handling on-call shifts, ensuring patient satisfaction, and complying with all transportation laws. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and safety during loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home medical equipment safely to patients and set up equipment.
• Educate patients on proper use and care of equipment.
• Maintain neat vehicle and adhere to FDA protocols.
• Participate in on-call shifts for emergencies as required.

Job Functions

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies
