Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a driver for scheduled routes, delivering materials to customers and supporting loading/unloading. The role requires maintaining a valid DOT medical card, following safety policies, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Experience in warehouse/logistics and strong customer communication are valued.

Eligible for benefits, 401(k) match, and growth opportunities. Starting at $20/hr or more with experience, schedule M-F 7am-4pm, opportunity for overtime and career development within Ferguson

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, including loading/unloading assistance and ensuring delivery ticket is provided.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling/prepping orders for shipment; receiving, verifying, stocking incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage and safety harness with up to 400 lbs weight capacity.
