Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of relevant logistics experience or equivalent.
• Experience with PC and warehouse management systems, wireless forklift computer systems, and scanners preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR over the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• This position will obtain packaging equipment and materials and deliver items to customers.
• Plans truck routes to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
• Performs routine inspection on assigned vehicles and refers defects or repairs to supervisor.
• Maintains clean truck, cab, and freight areas.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Moves materials safely, accurately, and promptly within warehouse and trucks; records all material movements.
• Regularly assists with receiving materials, manages paperwork, counts material, tags material, and puts material away in warehouse when needed.
• Makes efficient use of time so that output is maximized, and other people are assisted when necessary.
• Maintains specified housekeeping zone and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
• Complete all required continuous learning training, including safety, compliance, and job specific.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
