Job summary

DiVal Safety Equipment – Capitol Heights, MD is seeking a Delivery Driver for full-time hours 6am–3pm or 7am–4pm. The role involves safely delivering orders, loading vehicles for efficient routes, and providing outstanding customer service in the DC metro area.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a DOT drug screen and physical, and basic computer skills. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) with company contribution.

Qualifications

• Dependability and a strong work ethic.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a handheld device.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse, forklift and RF scanner experience is a plus.
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately deliver customer orders throughout the local service area.
• Load, organize, and configure the delivery vehicle for efficient daily routes.
• Provide friendly, professional, and dependable customer service.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Use a company-issued electronic logging device to accurately record work hours.
• Assist with warehouse responsibilities, including order preparation, cleaning, and general organization.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and work area.
• Communicate with warehouse managers and supervisors regarding deliveries and daily priorities.
• Support additional warehouse and delivery needs as assigned.
