Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Mayer Team in Nashville. The role delivers products to customers and branches in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required. You will ensure orders are correct, documents are completed, and safety rules are followed.

The position emphasizes vehicle inspections, loading/unloading, and assisting with order preparation. Senior drivers mentor new hires and various branch tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report repairs.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws.
• Load/unload material and verify orders are correct and undamaged.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed and signed by the customer.
• Pickup material returns and inspect condition and quantities.
