Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking delivery drivers to support our Northeast operations as part of the Sonepar group. You will use a company vehicle to deliver materials, verify items on the manifest, and provide friendly, professional service to customers.

Daily duties include logging deliveries, communicating with dispatch to resolve issues, and performing a brief vehicle inspection. A valid driver’s license with a clean record, good time management, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
Attention to detail and strong time management.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

Utilize Company vehicle to make deliveries according to manifest.
Utilize technology to maintain logs and records, and to obtain customer signature.
Verify the material that is being delivered is accurate and in excellent condition.
Help to resolve delivery issues by communicating with dispatch team regularly.
Conduct daily inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation.
