Job summary

Millar's of Bay City (Millar's Appliance) is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. You will deliver household goods to clients and uphold our values by showing respect and courtesy to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities include following routes and schedules, loading/unloading, inspecting vehicles, operating liftgate when needed, and complying with DOT safety standards. The job requires lifting 50–100 lbs and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, e.g., box truck and express van.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes.
• Follow route and schedule.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Operate liftgate and hand trucks in various weather and conditions.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
• Dispose of packing materials.
• Unload delivery vehicles.
• Help organize warehouse.
