Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Delivery Driver to service customers from Store #707147 in Watauga, TX. You will load, transport, and deliver paint and related products, ensure orders are complete, and provide friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle, following routes and schedules, complying with safety rules, and completing delivery documentation. Prior delivery experience is preferred; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from FMCSA registry or willing to obtain within five days of offer.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and read reports.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of delivery driver experience.
• Experience using material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete required forms and delivery documentation.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes, times, and safety rules.
• Maintain a clean driving record and obey transportation laws.
• Prepare delivery reports and other related documents.
• Operate vehicles and equipment (cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.).
• Assist with store duties including tinting and mixing customer orders; assist customers as needed.
