Job summary

Onni is seeking a Delivery Driver/Houseman in Chicago to ensure timely delivery of commissary, dry goods, and paper goods across outlets. The role also supports houseman duties, event setup/breakdown, and general item movement.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, loading/unloading, and assisting with storage, upkeep, and basic maintenance for restaurant teams. Evening/weekend flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• Previous experience with commercial deliveries is preferred.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and professionally.
• Comfort with evening or weekend shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver commissary, dry goods, and paper goods to outlets on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods, ensuring timely delivery to each location.
• Verify order accuracy against requisitions before distribution.
• Assist with movement, transport, and storage of items and supplies.
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean storage and delivery areas.
• Support restaurant houseman functions, including cleaning and restocking.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of equipment, furniture, and materials for special events.
• Coordinate with Event Chef and staff for timely setup and teardown.
