Job summary

The Gaston Express, LLC is seeking a Delivery Driver Helper to support our drivers with loading, organizing, and delivering packages in Lakewood, WA. You will assist with loading and unloading, organize packages, and ensure safe delivery to customers.

This outdoor, team-focused role starts at our Lakewood station, with shifts around 11:20am for 4 days weekly. We offer paid training, paid time off, and optional health, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old at the time of employment.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid form of identification and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• 100% reliable attendance and dependable transportation to the Lakewood station.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

The Gaston Express, LLC is looking for reliable Delivery Driver Helpers to assist our drivers with delivering packages to customers. TGEL is run by seasoned AMAZON DSP Professionals, all with a combined 20 years of experience in this business. We are a locally owned Amazon Delivery Service Partner committed to excellent customer service, teamwork, and a safe work environment.

As a Driver Helper, you will ride alongside a delivery driver, assist with loading and organizing packages, and deliver packages to customers. This is an active role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying moving, and being part of a team. You will start and end your day at delivery station DSW5 in Lakewood.

What You’ll Do:

This is a helper position. Driving the delivery vehicle is not part of the role and a driver’s license is not required.

Schedule:

FT is 4 days a week. We are currently hiring for multiple 4-Day Schedules. Your 8-10hr shift will start around 11:20am. If you are a nite owl who likes sleeping in, then this is the job for you.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old at the time of employment and possess a positive, customer-first attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (marijuana / THC is okay).
• A valid form of identification and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• 100% Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependable transportation to our Lakewood station.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
