Position Summary
The Driver Helper assists drivers with deliveries to customers and operates various material handling equipment.

• Work Days: Tuesday to Friday
• Start Time: 6AM – 2PM (finishing time varies)
• Pay: $22.15/hr. with OT after 8 hours
• Incentive Pay included
• Eligible to join the local Teamsters Union 653

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver and service customers of Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company
• Unload orders at multiple locations throughout the day
• Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
• Climb in and out of truck cabs multiple times daily
• Work collaboratively with team members

Job Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Forklift or order picker experience is a plus but not required
• Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull over 160 lbs. on a two-wheel hand truck
• Repeatedly bend, reach, walk, and twist while handling 5 to 55 lbs. products, up to 2000 times per shift
