Steinhafels is seeking Delivery Driver Helpers in Bolingbrook, IL. The role requires a regular driver’s license and involves loading/unloading furniture onto delivery trucks, navigating to customer locations, and setting up items in customers’ homes.

The position is 10-hour days with overtime beyond 10 hours and offers a 4-day work week for better work-life balance. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with a potential $1.50 per hour attendance bonus.

Qualifications

• Regular lifting of furniture is required.
• The role is physically demanding and involves loading/unloading.
• Experience with safe handling of heavy items is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safe loading and padding of furniture onto delivery truck
• Helping with navigation to customer locations
• Safe unloading and set-up of furniture in customer homes
• Picking up customer returns as needed
• Safe handling and disposal of used bedding
• Ensure team effort and safety for backing up of truck
• Using company issued cell phone to log all stops upon arrival
• Acquiring customer signature on necessary paperwork
• Accurate completion of trip sheet for each day
• Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle
• Notifying managers of any incidents or accidents

Only a regular drivers liscense is required for this position. The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour, with the potential to earn an additional $1.50 per hour through a perfect attendance bonus.

Qualifications

Delivery Driver Helpers a Wednesday thru Saturday regular work schedule. This is a physical position that requires regular lifting of furniture. All driver job offers are contingent upon a lifting test.
