Job summary

Thistle is seeking Delivery Drivers to bring plant-forward meals to customers across Hayward and surrounding areas. You will represent our quality, reliability, and care at the door, loading bags and ensuring accurate deliveries while maintaining communication with dispatch.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A reliable vehicle and smartphone are essential for routing and instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proof of insurance that includes liability and bodily injury.
• A reliable, clean, well-maintained vehicle with capacity for multiple bags of meals, snacks, and beverages.
• A reliable smartphone and comfort with using mobile technology for routing and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the assigned Thistle location at your scheduled shift start with a fully charged smartphone and sufficient fuel.
• Verify that all items are accounted for before leaving for deliveries.
• Use our delivery app to complete assigned stops and follow customer instructions.
• Collect return bags and ice packs and return them to your pickup location at the beginning of your next shift.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with our dispatch team to keep routes moving.
