Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver in Michigan to provide exceptional service while delivering automotive parts to commercial customers and DIY shoppers. You will use company vehicles (no CDL required) and support store operations with on-time, accurate deliveries.

Safety, reliability, and clear product knowledge are essential, as you will handle returns, cores, and routine loads. Bilingual English/Spanish and prior automotive retail experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
