Job summary

ShopRite of New London in New London, CT is seeking a delivery associate to provide our customers with timely, accurate, friendly transport of groceries to their destination using a company vehicle. The role requires strong customer service, safe driving, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Essential duties include greeting customers, loading deliveries, coordinating with store management, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Possess valid State Driver’s license.
• Ability to drive continuously during shift.
• Ability to operate a GPS and organize deliveries efficiently.
• Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain organization.
• Ability to meet deadlines on a timely basis.
• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Deliver groceries using company vehicle and present the bill to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle.
• Ensure complete orders are loaded and secured for delivery.
• Obey traffic regulations and report incidents.
• Make timely and efficient deliveries and collect payments as required.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy and security considerations where applicable.
