Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver for Grimes, IA. You will safely drive to customers, unload products, verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and handle payments when needed.

Local role with early start times and a benefits package; base pay starts at $32.09 per hour plus overtime, with a $10,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires. Medical and retirement benefits available from Day 1, schedule Monday–Friday, 3AM–6AM starts, weekends off.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and store in designated areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
