Job summary

United Electric Supply is seeking a Delivery Driver in Dover, DE to support the warehouse and customer deliveries. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate loading, and on-time deployments to customer sites.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and operating a 26' box truck. Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and customer service excellence across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

Load truck/van for deliveries ensuring material is correct and secure.
Create shipping manifests for all deliveries.
Record mileage, expenses, and pre/post trip inspections on vehicle.
Observe safety regulations while operating up to a 26' box truck.
Receive incoming materials, check RMA against merchandise and inspect for defects.
Use RF guns to stock shelves and pull material to fill orders, back-orders, will calls, and inter-branch transfers.
Pack and ship materials in designated cartons per customer order and procedures.
Receive and cut reels of wire to customer specifications.
Post purchase orders and related data into the computer system.
Solve related problems and notify supervisor as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
