CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time delivery driver in Pompano Beach, FL. You’ll load, deliver, and install furniture at customer locations and assist in the warehouse as needed.

We offer paid training, health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for growth. Standard schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency.
• A minimum of 12 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture indoors/outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations and read/speak English sufficiently to interact with the public and complete reports.
• DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate required with ability to pass medical exam and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Start your day at the warehouse to review route and safety topics with the operations team.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture and interact with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including loading/unloading furniture.

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time non-CDL drivers in Pompano Beach, FL!

The Delivery Driver works collaboratively as part of the Operations team. You will be responsible for loading furniture and delivering safely to customers’ homes or office spaces. You will also be assembling furniture for the customer and going above and beyond to ensure a positive customer experience.

Pay: $21 / hour

Schedule: Standard is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm; some flexibility or overtime may be required

• Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations
  • Per FMSCA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, which includes passing a physical and drug screening
• Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
• Acceptable MVR per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards
